Accommodation FAQs
What lodging options do you offer?
Sagebrush offers two distinct lodging experiences. On-course suites are located steps from the first tee and feature two bedrooms and two bathrooms, accommodating up to four guests. For guests seeking standard hotel amenities or a more economical option, partner lodging is available at the Best Western Plus in Merritt.
Does staying on property improve access?
Yes. Staying on property aligns your visit with the way Sagebrush is intended to be experienced. Lodging guests receive preferred booking windows, earlier tee time access, and preferred pricing.
Does the lodging have kitchens or cooking facilities?
On-site lodging does not include kitchens or in-suite cooking facilities. A coffeemaker and a small refrigerator is provided in each suite. For safety and comfort, personal cooking appliances and BBQs are not permitted. Guests are invited to enjoy dining at the Ranch House Restaurant or The Hideout throughout their stay.
What is included in a Play & Stay package?
Play & Stay packages typically include overnight lodging, golf rounds, and cart fees. Meals and additional experiences are offered a la carte, allowing guests to tailor their stay to their preferences.
Do I have to book a package, or can I just play one round?
Guests are welcome to book single-round tee times without a lodging commitment. That said, many day guests find themselves wishing they had planned for a longer stay once they experience the course.
What is the most economical way to play?
Mid-week tee times, single-round visits, and utilizing partner lodging in Merritt are typically the most cost-effective ways to experience Sagebrush.
Where can we eat on property?
The Ranch House Restaurant serves breakfast daily and dinner on select evenings. The Hideout on the 13th hole offers a casual lunch option during the day and evening service on select nights. Additional food and beverage options are available through the refreshment cart and the Golf Lounge.
Is food available throughout the day?
Yes. Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages throughout the day, both at fixed locations and on the course.
How is booking priority determined each year?
At Sagebrush, we take a thoughtful approach to booking each season to ensure our returning guests and groups are well cared for, while still creating opportunities for new visitors to experience the club.
We begin by offering priority access to guests who stayed with us in the current or previous season. Within that group, we give earliest consideration to those who return year after year, as well as larger groups (typically 12 or more players), since these trips require more coordination and planning.
Next, we prioritize groups staying on-site for multiple nights, as overnight stays are a core part of the Sagebrush experience.
Once returning guests and multi-night stays have been accommodated, we begin confirming reservations from our waitlist. The waitlist is built through requests submitted to our call center, and we review those requests in a similar way—giving preference to larger groups and those planning extended stays.
Our goal is to balance loyalty, group experience, and access—so every season feels both familiar for our returning guests and welcoming to those discovering Sagebrush for the first time.
